Rev. Charles R. Hasty, Senior Pastor/Head of Staff, has a Bachelor of Arts degree from Davidson College and a Master of Divinity degree from Columbia Theological Seminary. International experience includes time as Assistant Pastor of Tokyo Union College in Tokyo, Japan and a year as a high school teacher in Bunyore, Kenya, East Africa. Chuck has served as the chaplain of Davidson College and pastor of the Madison Presbyterian Church, Madison, GA and Senior Pastor of First Presbyterian Church, Columbus, GA. Chuck is married to Jeanne and has two daughters, Abigail and Ruth Anne.
John Flowers is our first Director of Youth Discipleship. John joins the Grace Team with experience in and passion for the Gospel ministry. He is currently a junior at CSU pursuing a BA in History and is discerning a call to seminary and ordained ministry upon graduation. John is coming off a year-long comprehensive internship at St. Paul UMC (his home church) where he engaged in teaching, visitation, planning and leading youth events and preaching. John was also a member of the recent Kenya mission team.
Katherine Server is the Director of Children's Ministry. She comes to Grace highly recommended from the University of Georgia Wesley Foundation in Athens, where she served for 3 years as Outreach, Advancement and Prayer Intern. Katherine graduated from the University of Georgia with a B.S. in Human Development and Family Science cum laude.
